Copies of documents prior to 1960 are available at the Register of Deeds office in Mason, MI. Copies of documents are $1.00 per copied page and are available through these options:

AVA – Ava is a free search option. The records are available from 1956 to current, except for the last 30 days. To search for something that has been recorded within the last 30 days you will need to use one of the other search options.
Images are available for $1.10 per page with AVA and can be purchased with a credit card. To use AVA click on https://ava.fidlar.com/michigan /ingham/ava/ and follow the instructions listed.

TAPESTRY – Property records in Tapestry are available from 1956 to the current effective date, and images are available from 1960 to the current effective date.
Tapestry costs $5.95 per search. Copies of images are $1.00 per page and can be purchased with a credit card.

LAREDO – Laredo is a subscription based service for anyone who performs title searches on a regular basis.
Property records in Laredo are available from 1956 to the current effective date, and images are available from 1960 to the current effective date.
Laredo has set subscription plan rates, and images are $1.00 per page.
To download Laredo go to www.fidlar.com click on the products tab, select Laredo, choose the state (Michigan) and county (Ingham), then download the program.
To login once you have downloaded the program, you need to contact Karen Rawlinson at 517-676-7249. She will help you select a subscription plan and will setup your user name and password for using Laredo to search Ingham County, MI records.
